MOSCOW, June 17. /TASS/. A light-engine aircraft crashed in the Moscow Region, killing both people on board, an emergency service source told TASS.

"A light-engine aircraft crashed during landing in the Sergiyev Posad city district. When it hit the ground, it caught fire. Two people on board were killed," the source said.

The source said the crash occurred at the Vikhrevo airfield, where there were no casualties.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
