MELITOPOL, May 17. /TASS/. The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant’s transport shop came under an artillery attack by Ukrainian troops, no one was hurt.
"Ukrainian troops have staged an artillery attack on the transport shop in the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP, which is part of Rosatom’s nuclear facilities. As a result of the shelling attack, the building’s roof and several busses for personnel were damaged. Luckily, no one was hurt, no fire followed," the ZNPP said on its Telegram channel.
It also said that Ukrainian troops tried to attack the facility’s Raduga substation with a use of a drone, which was shot down and did not detonate. The facility continues to operate routinely, with all the technological parameters being under control and the radiation background remaining within the norm.
