ISTANBUL, May 4. /TASS/. A plane carrying Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez en route from Madrid to Yerevan had to perform an emergency landing in Ankara because of a technical malfunction, Turkey’s TRT Haber television said.
According to the report, the technical problem of the premier’s A310 plane was not serious.
Sanchez will spend the night in the Turkish capital and will then continue his flight to Yerevan, where he is to take part in the summit of the European Political Community (EPC).
