Kiev attack on Zaporozhye kills several rare horses
It will take at least ten years to restore livestock, Gennady Shcherbak, the owner of the herd, told
MELITOPOL, April 2. /TASS/. Ukraine has killed several rare Soviet-era horses in its drone attack on a farm in the Zaporozhye Region, Gennady Shcherbak, the owner of the herd, told TASS.
"The horses were a Ukrainian horse breed. This breed is very rare, it was created immediately after the Great Patriotic War in 1945, at the end of 1945. Now, the breed no longer exists in the Zaporozhye region. That's the situation. There is a lot of damage," Shcherbak said.
According to him, it will take at least ten years to restore livestock.
"At least 10, 15 years. To restore the livestock that was killed as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack," he said.
Earlier on Thursday, Zaporozhye Region Governor Balitsky said several Ukrainian drones killed 14 horses and wounded three.
"The horses fell at the hands of these Nazis. They are inhuman. Nowadays, I think that the system works very well, intelligence, you can see from several kilometers away, from five or six what there is on the ground. You can read a newspaper sheet there, you can see everything. Don't you see that there were horses here? There was no equipment here, nothing. These poor animals were the only ones. Every day they leave the stable, work, enter the stable," Shcherbak said.
