PARIS, January 28. /TASS/. The fire at the luxury Hotel des Grandes Alpes in the French ski resort of Courchevel has been extinguished, with no visible flames or smoke, eyewitnesses told TASS.

"The smell from the fire is very strong, but there is no more smoke or fire," the agency source said.

The blaze broke out at the hotel the previous night. Hundreds of people were evacuated, and six firefighters sustained minor injuries. Around 120 firefighters were involved in combating the blaze.
