MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. An earthquake having the magnitude of 7.6 occurred off the coast of the Kuril Islands, the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk seismic station reports.

"Up to four points could be sensed at the Southern Kuril Islands," the seismic center said. The epicenter of shocks was situated at the depth of 20 kilometers.
