TASHKENT, August 31. /TASS/. A Magnitude 6.2 earthquake has rocked the Hundu Kush mountains in Afghanistan, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) said.

The epicenter was located 27 kilometers southwest of the city of Asadabad.

No casualties or damage were immediately reported.
