BUENOS AIRES, August 22. /TASS/. An earthquake of magnitude 7.5 has been registered in the Drake Strait in the Atlantic Ocean, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center said.

According to it, the epicenter was located 957 km south-east of the city of Punta Arenas, where 117,000 people live. The source was located at a depth of 11 km.
