One killed, 16 injured as tourist bus, freight train collide in Russia’s Leningrad Region

ST. PETERSBURG, August 4. /TASS/. The number of people injured after a tourist bus collided with a freight train in Russia’s Leningrad Region has increased to 16, one person has died, the press service of the regional administration reported.

Earlier, the Oktyabrskaya Railway Company press service reported that ten were killed and ten were injured as a result of the incident.

"According to the information of the Leningrad Region’s Health Committee, as a result of the collision of a bus with a freight train at the crossing in the Lodeynoye Pole district, one person died, and 16 passengers were injured," the statement said.
