DUBAI, June 20. /TASS/. A magnitude 5.1 earthquake rocked northern Iran, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) said.

According to the EMSC, the epicenter was located 36 kilometers northwest of the city of Semnan with a population of some 124,000.

No casualties or damage were reported.
