Powerful earthquake hits Argentina’s coast

A tsunami warning was issued
BUENOS AIRES, May 2. /TASS/. A magnitude 7.1 earthquake has rocked Argentina’s coast, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
According to the EMSC, the epicenter was located 285 kilometers southeast of the city of Ushuaia with a population of 58,000, and 511 kilometers southeast of the city of Punta Arenas with a population of around 117,000.
A tsunami warning was issued.
