Fire at oil refinery in Russia's Bashkortostan injures one person

UFA, March 3. /TASS/. One person was injured in a fire at an oil refinery in Ufa and was taken to a medical center, Bashkortostan's Health Minister Airat Rakhmatullin said on his Telegram channel.

"Tonight, a fire broke out at the Ufimsky oil refinery in Ufa. Two ambulance crews were on duty at the scene. One man was injured and taken to an eye trauma center, where he will receive outpatient treatment," Rakhmatullin wrote.

According to the Emergencies Ministry, the fire started at night near a combustion furnace, likely due to industrial processes. The fire was extinguished, and laboratory results confirmed that no harmful substances exceeded safe levels in the air.
