MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. Investigators have recognized over 27,000 people as victims of the Ukrainian militants’ invasion of the Kursk region, Chairman of Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin said in an interview with TASS.
"Over 39,000 people have been questioned in criminal cases on the events in the Kursk region, and over 27,000 have been recognized as victims," he said.
He also said that data on the destruction of over 20 cultural heritage sites have been recorded.
"It was established that municipal facilities, large agricultural enterprises, other organizations and individual entrepreneurs suffered damages in the amount of over 26 bln rubles," Bastrykin said.
