DONETSK, February 8. /TASS/. A young girl has been killed in a Ukrainian shelling attack on the city of Makeyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the region’s head Denis Pushilin said.

"The Ukrainian armed forces deliberately carried out a strike on downtown Makeyevka on the weekend. Unfortunately, a young girl was killed. According to the latest reports, ten people suffered injuries, including a child," he wrote on Telegram.

Pushilin also said that the fragments of a downed Ukrainian projectile had caused damage to apartment buildings and 15 cars.
