ASTANA, December 25. /TASS/. Five passengers from a plane that crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau have been sent to intensive care, the Kazinform news agency reports, citing the Health Department of Kazakhstan’s Mangistau Region.
"Five passengers from the plane that crashed in Aktau have been sent to intensive care," the statement reads. "A total of 14 people have been taken to the regional multi-specialty hospital. <...> An 11-year-old child is being examined at the regional children’s hospital. A 16-year-old has also been sent there," the news outlet added.
Kazakhstan’s Emergencies Ministry, in turn, said that 22 people had been taken to the hospital after the plane crash.
