The perpetrator of the hit-and-run attack on people at the Christmas market in Magdeburg, Taleb A., could be charged with the murder of five people and the attempted murder of another 205, Dr. Horst Nopens, Head of the Magdeburg Public Prosecutor’s office, announced at a press conference.

"As of now, the motive [for committing the crime] could have been dissatisfaction with the treatment of Saudi refugees in Germany," he said.
