Airline employee, not pilot, dies in airplane crash near Vilnius, police say

VILNIUS, November 25. /TASS/. One of the employees died in a DHL cargo airplane crash near Vilnius International Airport, while rescuers continue to search for another individual among the wreckage, Police Commissioner General Renatas Pogela said.
Earlier, LRT radio reported that one of the pilots had died in the crash. A total of four people - two pilots and two company employees - were on board the plane en route to Vilnius from Leipzig.
"Two pilots were rescued from the cockpit of the crashed airplane, both of them are alive. One of the pilots is in serious condition," he said.
The DHL cargo plane crashed on its approach to Vilnius International Airport. For some time, it did not service any flights. Operations have now resumed at the airport.
