IZHEVSK, November 15. /TASS/. An explosion has occurred on a plant floor in the Republic of Udmurtia, head of the Udmurtia Region Alexander Brechalov said, adding that the fall of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) could have been the cause of the blast.

"An explosion occurred on a plant floor at 101 Lenin Street this morning. According to preliminary information, an unmanned aerial vehicle fell," he said on his Telegram channel.

One person was wounded, Brechlov noted, adding that he had been taken to hospital in a moderately severe state.

The blast did not cause serious damage, the staff have been evacuated, with operative services working on the spot, he said.
