PARIS, November 16. /TASS/. All four people, who were held hostage in the restaurant in the Issy-les-Moulineaux suburb of Paris, have been released, BFMTV reported.

According to the report, no one was injured. The negotiations with the perpetrator continued for about two hours. The police did not use firearms during his apprehension.

Previously, the media reported that a man, armed with a knife, took four restaurant employees hostage. The perpetrator is reportedly a son of the restaurant’s owner. The France Info reported citing its sources that his mother previously told the medics that her son had a drug addiction.

The incident area was cordoned off by the police. The BRI special police unit, rescue teams and snipers arrived at the scene. The police gradually leave the operation zone, but the territory around the restaurant remains blocked off.
