DOHA, October 16. /TASS/. A magnitude 5.7 earthquake has been registered in Afghanistan, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) announced.

According to the EMSC, the epicenter was located 40 km away from the settlement of Jorm, population 12,000, and 190 km deep.

No injuries or damage have been reported.
