MOSCOW, September 1. /TASS/. Nine settlements in Russia’s borderline Kursk Region have been cleared of mines, the Russian emergencies ministry said.
"Nine settlements have been surveyed and cleared of explosive objects by bomb specialists over the past week. More than 150 munitions were defused," the ministry said.
The Russian emergencies ministry’s mine action teams continue surveying territories of populated localities and infrastructure facilities, it added.
