MINSK, April 12. /TASS/. All delegations attending the meeting of the Foreign Ministers' Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) have expressed solidarity with the Russian people over the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.
"All our colleagues in their speeches confirmed solidarity with Russia, with its people in the face of the threat of terrorism, including in connection with the heinous terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall," the top diplomat said at a press conference.
The foreign minister pointed out that the meeting "provided a good opportunity to exchange views on the international and regional agenda."
"Much attention was paid to interaction in the field of security in the CIS space and, more broadly, on the Eurasian continent, including the joint fight against terrorism, other threats and challenges," he listed. "In this context, we considered certain aspects of cooperation, including in the field of migration," the top diplomat emphasized.
The main priority of Russia’s CIS chairmanship is to "ensure the further development of integration ties in all areas: economic, security and law enforcement, cultural and humanitarian," Lavrov pointed out.
