Kremlin unaware of warnings from Iran before Crocus terrorist attack

MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. Kremlin Sspokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that he was unaware of warnings allegedly received from Iran about preparations for a major terrorist attack in Russia before the events at the Crocus City Hall music venue in a Moscow suburb.
"No, I know nothing about it," the spokesman said, commenting on information that appeared in the media that such warnings may have been sent to Moscow from Tehran last month.
On the evening of March 22, a terrorist attack targeted the Crocus City Hall music venue in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, just outside the Moscow city limits. According to the latest data, 144 people were killed and 551 injured. Eleven people suspected of involvement in the terrorist attack have been apprehended, including the four gunmen, who were arrested in the Bryansk Region, southwest of Moscow, as they attempted to flee to Ukraine across the nearby border. The Investigative Committee said that it had proved that the perpetrators of the attack were linked to Ukrainian nationalists.
