MOSCOW, March 31. /TASS/. Three militants who plotted terror attacks have been detained during a counter-terrorism operation in Dagestan in southern Russia, the National Antiterrorism Committee’s (NAC) information center said in a statement.
"This morning, security structures detained three bandits in Makhachkala and Kaspiysk plotting a number of terror crimes," the statement said.
The search upon apprehension revealed automatic weapons and munitions and a ready-to-use home-made explosive device.
The NAC noted that no one had been harmed among civilians or law enforcement personnel.
