Evidence of terrorist plot found in apartment of concert hall attackers

MOSCOW, March 25. /TASS/. Paraphernalia related to preparations for the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert venue have been recovered from the apartment of those accused of the attack, the chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, said.
A slew of forensic examinations are scheduled to be performed on the seized items, weapons and ammunition, he said. "More than 200 inspections, searches and seizures have been carried out, in which more than 1,000 different items important for the investigation were seized. During the search in the apartment where the accused lived, in addition to their handprints, fibers of cloth and tools used to prepare for the attack were found. A Makarov pistol without cartridges and a magazine for a Kalashnikov assault rifle with 30 cartridges were found in the criminals' car," Bastrykin said.
"Ninety forensic examinations - ballistic, genetic and fingerprint, have been scheduled for all the seized items, weapons and ammunition," he told a meeting chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin about the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall near Moscow.
