Air defense system triggered over Belgorod, 17 UAVs shot down — governor
Vyacheslav Gladkov said that in Belgorod Ukraine’s air attack smashed windows in 22 apartments of four apartment buildings
MOSCOW, March 22. /TASS/. /TASS/. Air defenses have shot down 17 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Belgorod and the Belgorodsky district, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov has said on his Telegram channel.
"Over Belgorod and the Belgorodsky district our air defense system was triggered and 17 aerial targets approaching the city were shot down. There were no casualties," he wrote.
Gladkov said that in Belgorod Ukraine’s air attack smashed windows in 22 apartments of four apartment buildings. The roof of one educational institution was broken and windows smashed and eight cars hit. Also, in the village of Dubovoye, the Belgorodsky district, windows were broken in several apartments of one apartment building. One private home was also badly damaged, in another four windows were broken and roofing damaged.
"Emergency response services are working at the sites," Gladkov wrote.
