CHISINAU, March 17. /TASS/. A military base in the unrecognized Republic of Transnistria has been attacked by a kamikaze drone, the First Transnistrian TV channel reported.

According to the broadcaster, a fire broke out at a military base in the Transnistrian capital of Tiraspol following an explosion. According to preliminary information, the incident was caused by a kamikaze drone attack. There were no casualties.

An old helicopter, which was out of service, burned down following the drone attack on the military base, a Transnistrian law enforcement official told TASS. He added that an investigation had been launched into the incident.
