Fuel depot at mining plant in Russia’s Kursk Region catches fire after drone attack

MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. A fuel depot at Mikhailovsky GOK, an iron ore mining and processing facility, caught fire following a drone attack in the Zheleznogorsk District of Russia’s borderline region of Kursk, the Metalloinvest subsidiary told TASS.

"Today, a fuel reservoir at Mikhailovsky GOK’s warehouse caught fire as a result of a drone attack in the Zheleznogorsk District. There were no casualties," the plant said in a statement. Firefighting efforts are currently underway, it added.
