MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. A missile attack alert was declared for citizens of the Russian city of Belgorod and its surrounding municipalities in the Belgorod Region, the municipal authorities announced in a statement on its Telegram channel on Sunday.

"Attention to the city of Belgorod and the Belgorod Region! A missile attack warning. Stay at your homes," the statement reads.

The statement also advised local residents against approaching the windows of their houses during the missile attack alert.
