More than 1,400 cases opened over shelling of border areas, drone attacks

MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched more than 1,400 criminal cases on the facts of shelling of the Russian territories bordering Ukraine and drone attacks, the agency’s head, Alexander Bastrykin, told TASS in an interview.
"The Investigative Committee records almost daily facts of shelling of our border territory and drone attacks on certain areas of a number of Russian regions. More than 1,400 criminal cases have been launched," he said.
Bastrykin pointed out that investigators are working hard to document and collect evidence of these crimes. In particular, according to available information, the Belgorod Region is being shelled from the Kharkov Region. The head of the Investigative Committee stressed that the investigators are taking all possible measures to identify the participants of these and other similar crimes to bring them to criminal responsibility.
