Russia established circumstances of terrorist attack on Crimean Bridge — top investigator
The investigation of the criminal case is at the final stage, Alexander Bastrykin said
MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. Russia's Investigative Committee has established all the circumstances of the terrorist act on the Crimean Bridge in October 2022, the investigation of the case is being finalized, the agency’s head, Alexander Bastrykin, told TASS in an interview.
"The circumstances of this crime have been established, the investigation of the criminal case is at the final stage, the accused and their lawyers are familiarizing themselves with its materials," he said.
As it was previously reported, the charges were brought against Alexander Bylin, Oleg Antipov, Dmitry Tyazhelykh, Artem and Georgy Azatyan, Roman Solomko, Vladimir Zlob and Artur Terchanyan. The defendants in this case are citizens of Russia, Armenia, and Ukraine.
On the morning of October 8, 2022, a truck was blown up on the Crimean Bridge, causing the tanks of a nearby freight train to catch fire. Four people were killed, and two spans of the highway section of the bridge leading to the peninsula collapsed.
