Ukrainian fixed-wing drone shot down over Bryansk Region
No casualties or damage were reported, said the region’s governor Alexander Bogomaz
MOSCOW, February 22. /TASS/. /TASS/. A Ukrainian drone was shot down over Russia’s Bryansk Region bordering Ukraine, no one was hurt, the region’s governor, Alexander Bogomaz said.
"Ukrainian terrorists tried to attack facilities in the Surazhsky district with the use of an unmanned aerial vehicle. The fixed-wing drone was destroyed by the Russian defense ministry’s air defense forces. No casualties or damage were reported," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the Russian defense ministry, the incident took place at about 9:30 p.m. Moscow time (6:30 p.m. GMT). "At about 9:30 p.m. Moscow time (6:30 p.m. GMT) on February 22, the Kiev regime’s attempted terrorist attack on facilities in Russia’s territory with the use of a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle was thwarted. The Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed over the Bryansk Region," it said.
