According to the channel, one person is in critical condition, four have serious but not life threatening injuries. The others sustained minor injuries. There are no fatalities.
Firefighters working at the scene said that it was an apparent gas leak explosion.
According to available information, the hotel was undergoing repairs. However, it continued to operate, with 26 rooms occupied by guests.
Footage from the scene shows that the first two floors of the building were heavily damaged.
