MOSCOW, January 8. /TASS/. Blasts were heard in the city of Khmelnitsky in western Ukraine, the Obshchestvennoe news outlet reported.

Earlier in the morning Ukrainian media reported explosions in the city of Dnepr, previously known as Dnepropetrovsk, Krivoy Rog, the Ukraine-controlled city of Zaporozhye and the Kharkov Region. Kharkov Mayor Igor Terekhov also reported a blast in the city.

An air raid warning is in place across Ukraine, according to the official air raid alert resource.
