VILNIUS, January 3. /TASS/. A Russian national was detained in Latvia on suspicion of spying for Moscow, the Latvijas Avize newspaper reported.

According to the newspaper, the Russian was detained on December 20. He is accused of collecting and handing over the intelligence on Latvian military facilities and infrastructure. The suspect’s identity has not been disclosed.
