MOSCOW, January 3. /TASS/. /TASS/. Russia’s air defense forces have shot down nine air targets approaching Belgorod.

According to preliminary data, no one was injured, the Belgorod Region’s Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, said in his Telegram channel.

"Our air defenses shot down nine air targets approaching the city over Belgorod and the Belgorod region. Emergency response services are examining the consequences on the ground. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties," he wrote.

In Belgorod’s areas of private households windows were smashed in three homes and on gas pipe and one car were damaged. In the Belgorodsky district, the roofs of three private homes were hit.
