MOSCOW, January 2. /TASS/. The number of people injured in Ukrainian shelling attacks on Belgorod on Tuesday has risen to 11, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
Earlier reports said seven people were wounded.
"Three shelling attacks left 11 people injured," the governor of Russia’s borderline region wrote on his Telegram channel.
Meanwhile, air raid sirens sounded in the city for the fourth time today.
Earlier, Gladkov said that a man was killed as a munition exploded by his car as he was driving. The driver died on the spot of shrapnel wounds.
According to the governor, 53 private homes, six flats in four residential blocks, seven business entities, 37 cars and a bus were reported damaged.
