MOSCOW, December 21. /TASS/. Russian air defenses shot down a fixed-wing Ukrainian drone above the borderline region of Kursk on Thursday night, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"The Kiev regime’s attempt to stage a fixed-wing drone attack on facilities in Russia was thwarted at around 10:00 p.m. Moscow time (7:00 p.m. GMT) on December 21. On-duty air defenses destroyed the Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle above the territory of the Kursk Region," the ministry said.
