DONETSK, November 1. /TASS/. The Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) has sentenced three members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to life in prison for mass killings of civilians in Mariupol in the spring of 2022, a spokesperson for the DPR prosecutor’s office told TASS.

The three servicemen - 25-year-old Denis Zalevsky, 25-year-old Yevgeny Kiris and 23-year-old Bogdan Kashpruk - were found guilty of attempted murder and murder of two or more individuals, committed in an organized group and motivated by politically and/or ideologically-motivated hatred, as well as of brutal treatment of civilians on an occupied territory.

According to prosecutors, the three servicemen opened fire on a group of 13 residents of Mariupol in March 2022, killing seven of them.
