TASS, September 9. An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.9 was registered in Morocco on Friday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center reported.

According to the center, the epicenter was located 77 km southwest of Marrakech, where 839,000 people live. The source was at a depth of 10 kilometers.

There was no information about casualties or damage.
