MOSCOW, August 24. /TASS/. A powerful explosion was heard on the western outskirts of Ukraine’s capital Kiev late on Wednesday, the Strana news portal reported.

According to the report, the explosion rocked the historical neighborhood of Borshchagovka. No other details are known at this point.

An air raid warning was not issued for the Ukrainian capital.
