MOSCOW, August 1. /TASS/. One unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) targeting the capital of Russia was downed over the Moscow Region, the emergencies services reported on Tuesday.

"The Air Defense Forces shot down an aircraft-type drone over the Moscow Region that was en-route to Moscow," a spokesman for the emergencies services said.
