MELITOPOL, July 30. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army attempted to breach the defenses of the Russian Armed Forces but sustained huge losses in the Zaporozhye Region, acting governor Evgeny Balitsky said on the Telegram channel.

"The situation in Rabotino area deteriorated. The enemy attempted to breach the defenses in the direction of Orekhovo but faced the backlash of our units, sustained huge losses and retreated to its positions," Balitsky wrote.
