MELITOPOL, April 7. /TASS/. The city of Pologi in the Zaporozhye Region came under shelling by Ukrainian troops; several civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, the city’s administration said on Friday.

"The city of Pologi came under artillery shelling by Ukrainian troops today. A sports school, a district community center, a baby house and a polyclinic were damaged," it wrote on its Telegram channel.

According to the city’s administration there were no Russian troops near any of these facilities. "Once again, Ukrainian artillery targeted civilian infrastructure facilities. There were neither military facilities nor Russian forces near any of these places," it said.

The city of Pologi is located near the combat engagement line in the liberated part of the Zaporozhye region. Ukrainian troops regularly shell the city.
