Ukrainian aircraft crashes in Russia’s Bryansk Region, pilot detained — FSB
The press service clarified that the foreigner was under investigation, which would result in a procedural ruling
MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. Border guards have detained the pilot of a Ukrainian light-engine aircraft which crashed in the Bryansk Region, the regional branch of the Russian Federal Security Service’s (FSB) Border Service reported on Wednesday.
"On April 5, 2023, members of Russia’s FSB Border Service department for the Bryansk Region recorded a violation of the state border from Ukraine into the Russian Federation by a Ukrainian light-engine aircraft. For unknown reasons, the plane crashed near Butovsk in the Bryansk Region. The pilot (a Ukrainian national), who was trying to flee into Ukrainian territory was apprehended by a border patrol," the statement said.
