MOSCOW, March 31. /TASS/. Explosions were heard in the Kiev-controlled city of Zaporozhye early on Friday, Vladimir Rogov, the chairman of the We Are Together With Russia civil society group, said.

"Starting from 00:11 a.m. [Moscow time], several blasts occurred in the regional administrative center, temporarily occupied by the regime [of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky]," Rogov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Earlier, the Ukrainian media reported a series of blasts in the city of Kharkov and the Chernigov Region.

At present, an air raid alert is in place in the capital Kiev and the adjacent Kiev Region, as well as in the regions of Dnepropetrovsk, Kiev, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov and Chernigov and in Kiev-controlled territories of the Zaporozhye Region.
