MELITOPOL, March 14. /TASS/. The owner of a car that was blown up in Melitopol earlier in the day died in the hospital from injuries received in the blast, the region’s emergency services office told reporters on Tuesday.
"Ivan Tkach, the owner of the car that was blown up in downtown Melitopol today, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital," a spokesperson said.
Earlier, the leader of the We Are Together With Russia movement, Vladimir Rogov, said Tkach had been labeled a traitor in Ukraine for supporting Russia, and his personal data had been made available in open-access online sources.
Melitopol’s emergency services office reported on Tuesday that a powerful blast shook the city during the day. According to the report, a car was blown up in the yard of an apartment block in the city center, near the Kirovsky market. The makeshift explosive device was equivalent to one kilogram of TNT. Another two victims - a woman and a child - were injured in the explosion.
