BERLIN, March 10. /TASS/. The Hamburg police suggest that the shooter at a local center for the religious organization Jehovah's witnesses (recognized as extremist and outlawed in Russia) committed suicide, the RTL TV channel reported citing sources in law enforcement bodies.

When police officers entered the building late on Thursday, they heard a shot in the higher floors. Later the supposed criminal’s body was found there. Meanwhile, the information has not been confirmed, with the investigation underway.

According to the DPA agency, the city’s law enforcement bodies rate the incident as ‘mass murder resulting from obsessiveness’.

At around 9 p.m. local time (11 p.m. Moscow time) one or several unidentified people opened fire on people at the center. At least seven people were killed, and at least 24 were injured. The condition of seven people is estimated as serious. The motives are yet unknown.
