MOSCOW, February 21. /TASS/. One crew member from the Seamark bulk carrier, which sank in the Black Sea off the Kuban coast, has died onboard a rescue boat, the press service of the Russian emergencies ministry said on Tuesday.

"According to verified data, one man out of the 11 rescued crew members has died onboard a rescue vessel. Another one is in grave condition," it said.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Russian Sailors’ Union told TASS that the vessel broke into two parts and sank.

The Seamark bulk carrier flying the flag of the Comoro Islands, which was anchored some 1-1.5 miles off the coast, was wrecked by a strong storm. The vessel was carrying 3.5 tons of marble chips and had a crew of 11 Russian nationals.
