MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Six soldiers died and one more was injured in a fire that broke out in a dugout in the Kursk region, a spokesman for the emergencies services told TASS on Monday.

"A fire broke out in a military dugout near the village of Ulanok in the Kursk region at about 10:40 a.m. Moscow time. There were seven soldiers inside: one received burns, six died," the spokesman said.

The fire caused a cache of munitions that was being stored in the dugout to explode. The incident is being probed into.
